The ministry and work of Mountainview Community Church is fully supported through your tithes and offerings. We believe that God the Father has given us the greatest gift of all in his son Jesus Christ; that the father gave Jesus over to death so that we can have life. We aim to live lifes faithfully following Jesus' teaching and example by giving sacrificially and investing our earthly treasures into kingdom service.
We believe that Jesus teaches for each follower to joyfully give at least 10% of all that we receive; acknowledging that 100% of what we have belongs to God. Through the prophet Malachi, God challenges all believers to test him in their faith regarding their tithe:
"Test me in this, and see if I will not throw open the floodgates of heaven and pour out so much blessing that you will not have room for it all!" Malachi 3:10
